"We do it for the kids"
Bennett’s Creek Little League’s goal is to provide every opportunity for children in our area to play organized baseball and softball. Since 1968, we have been successful in doing so with a dedicated, all volunteer, and not-for-profit organization. We are also a community supported organization. Over thirty local organizations and private citizens have provided funds to support the league.
We have two Major and two Minor Softball Girls teams. On the baseball side, we have six Major Boys and eight Minor Boys teams. We have two coed divisions: Tee Ball (8 teams), usually five and six year-olds, and Coach Pitch (10 teams), usually seven and eight year-olds. We are pleased to be the only league in our district to have a Challenger Division, a separate division of Little League Baseball to enable boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities, ages 5-18 or the completion of high school, to enjoy the game of baseball. We have reached a record number of three Challenger teams thanks to the efforts of our volunteers.
We will be hosting this year’s Virginia District 6 All-Star tournament for softball.
